— Psalm 46:10 — “He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” As we prepare to move from summer into fall, we are reminded of the many joys this time of year brings. The High Holy Days, beginning with Rosh Hashanah, will soon be upon us, children are rejoining their friends as they return to school, and leaves are beginning to fall from the trees as the weather cools. Even amid ongoing crises, we continue to follow and trust in God, lifting our prayers for shalom, peace.
