In my opinion feminism is the new humanism. It asks men and women to get along and be equals, it asks for us be human.

Men have failed women miserably, we have not made the change in ourselves, and I for one don't want to think that I am better for having been born a man, or that I will be better because of a woman.  It is a challenge to be human, for the animal side of ourselves has caused a long human history of war and violence.  This is not a source of pride, it should be the thing we revolt against.  Our petty desires to hurt out of pride.  Our insistence in our importance or what the world owes us.  Our humanity is not given simply by being born human with the savage in us. Gaining our humanity is the greatest battle in which we could ever face.

How can I make the world a better place?

Now is the time to start with myself.

Love is a gift that nobody can give you.

I take delight in some things..

If only I knew how great the mountain

The swaying trees tall and magnificent 

I would rise myself into a cloud

My spirit would soar into sun beams

The drinks would appear in bottles

Sipped with new memories

And lost ones that

Became perfect.

Mixed emotions!

I am rather concerned about how humans are treating ducks and other non flying birds as if they were vulnerable and required to be chased or even yelled at with insults!
