In the end
The end of the day
Of course that would be
Not the end of the week
As sunsets lead to starry nights
Sometimes a sense of fright
Perhaps that the end is here
Or nigh
Then the clock ticks wild
After the midnight hour
Perhaps then time fades
And the silence can speak
Of dreams to come
And lights within
To open up the sun
As in loves light
Change comes.
