So first we need to calm down and discuss the hostility, the nationalism, and eh stupidity.

A dead body belongs to no nation or country. As you see in Ukraine the deaths on both sides and in Israel and Gaza equals lots of dead bodies. This is not a matter of sides, not really. It is the cost of hostility. Certianly a quality of life issue also.

I have been deeply involved with what is happening in Ukraine, and it relates to this: I saw and see the possibility of both the Russians and the Ukrainians wiping each other out. A no win situation. Neither side seems to like this idea especially Ukraine who don't trust that Russia will be good during attempts for peace or a ceasing of violence.

How do I feel now? I question the concept of protesting. About 12 years ago I stopped a protest using facebook in Berkeley. They were facing off with police in full riot gear and were yelling. It was ugly. I got them to think about what they were doing and why? That worked, and they wrote letters, or at least that was my reccomendation.

My opinion so far.. I don't like what is going on in Gaza, and felt seriously bad about the loss of life for weeks. Unfortunatly the 60's and the 2020's are not good mixes.
