Israeli scientists say that minuscule organisms can adapt their own RNA to survive extreme heat. Using a new method, researchers from the Weizmann Institute of Science have mapped sixteen types of simultaneous changes in dozens of samples; the findings could lead to improved RNA-based medical technologies.
