We love ourselves too often and need reach out much more often. It is a social responsibility and it effects the environment also.
A vital new effort to protect Jewish communities is taking shape in Congress. Senators Jacky Rosen (D-NV) and James Lankford (R-OK) have introduced the Jewish American Security Act, a bipartisan bill aimed at deploying significant federal weight to counter rising antisemitism. The legislation focuses on three critical priorities: - Campus Safety: Mandating a comprehensive U.S. Education Department framework to combat antisemitism on college campuses. - Physical Security: Investing $1 billion in federal security resources for at-risk houses of worship and non-profits. - Digital Accountability: Requiring social media platforms to be transparent about how they handle antisemitic content. We welcome this crucial focus on combatting antisemitism, protecting students, and ensuring a safer future.
The Jewish American Security Act, introduced on May 19, 2026, by Senators Jacky Rosen (D-NV) and James Lankford (R-OK), is a bipartisan bill designed to combat the rising tide of antisemitism in the United States through a coordinated federal response. The legislation focuses on securing Jewish institutions, addressing online hate, and protecting students, with key provisions including:Nonprofit Security Grants: The bill aims to increase funding for the Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP) to $1 billion to provide security resources for at-risk houses of worship, schools, and community centers.Combating Online Antisemitism: It requires major social media platforms (over 50 million monthly active U.S. users) to submit biannual transparency reports to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) regarding how they handle antisemitic content.Campus Safety: The legislation directs the U.S. Department of Education to create a comprehensive federal framework for tackling antisemitism on college campuses and in schools.Targeted Action: It mandates an annual report to Congress analyzing the links between online antisemitism and physical violence, providing recommendations to improve safety.
The subsequent coordinated effort occurred in May 2026, when both Prime Ministers simultaneously escalated their response to state-sponsored, foreign-orchestrated antisemitism—specifically targeting networks linked to Iran. This parallel crackdown was triggered after domestic security agencies in both countries linked foreign actors to domestic violence and hate campaigns against Jewish communities:Anthony Albanese's Actions (Australia)Diplomatic Expulsions: Following an Australian Security Intelligence Organisation (ASIO) investigation revealing that Iran had orchestrated at least two major antisemitic attacks on domestic soil, Albanese took the severe diplomatic step of declaring the Iranian ambassador persona non grata and expelling him from the country.Mission Withdrawal and Proscription: Albanese withdrew Australia's own diplomatic mission from Tehran and officially proscribed the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization.Synagogue Terror Response: Following a subsequent arson attack on a local synagogue, Albanese classified the event as terrorism fueled by antisemitism, committing full federal financial and security backing to completely rebuild and protect the site.Keir Starmer's Actions (UK)Direct Warnings to Hostile States: Parallel to the events in Australia, Starmer held a high-level Downing Street security roundtable to directly warn Iran and other hostile nations that attempting to stir up or fund domestic antisemitism in Britain would face direct state "consequences".National Security & Policing Summit: In response to a spike in domestic violence, including the stabbing of two Jewish men in Golders Green and a string of synagogue attacks, Starmer declared antisemitism an active "crisis" requiring the mobilization of "every part of society".Crisis Funding and Fast-Track Prosecutions: Starmer backed his warnings by allocating an immediate £1.5 million in emergency community cohesion funding to protect Jewish sites and directed the Crown Prosecution Service to fast-track all antisemitic hate crime prosecutions.
Of course something did happen, and I can't talk about it, but there are times in history, not many, when God shows himself in someway. To me God came to me twice in dreams. But he came to me in voice once and gave me my work to do for Jews, and it was an impossible task, so I didn't want to, but I did, and kept doing it, and kept doing it, and then the work began to form into something that simply defies reason.
