We love ourselves too often and need reach out much more often. It is a social responsibility and it effects the environment also.
This evening and tomorrow, Yom Hashoah - Holocaust Remembrance Day, we pause to honor the memories of the six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust. We commit to ensuring that the lessons of the past are never forgotten, so that history will never be repeated.
Yom HaShoah, also known as Holocaust Remembrance Day, is a day of remembrance for the six million Jews who were murdered during the Holocaust. It is observed annually, typically in late April or early May, marking the 27th of Nisan in the Hebrew calendar. The day is a time for reflection, remembrance, and honoring the lives of those who perished and the courage of those who survived. Make a difference, don't be a hater. Marty Morantz 🇨🇦 @marty_morantz · 1m Today is Yom HaShoah - a day where people in Canada and around the world stop and reflect upon the horror of the Holocaust. On Yom HaShoah, Conservatives join hands with the Jewish community with a commitment to our pledge - Never again. Today, our commitment to this pledge has never been more important. The attacks on Jewish communities keep happening, even here, in Canada. The unacceptable resurgence of antisemitism has revealed that the evil that led to the Holocaust has not yet been defeated. As we remember the victims, we vow not to let their memories be in vain. Never Again
6,001,200 Jews is enough! Yom HaShoah honors the community members we lost in the Holocaust. Today, we also remember the victims of October 7th—the deadliest attack on Jews since then. May this day stand as a testament to our enduring memory and resilience. Am Yisrael Chai.
