Citizens took shelter on the metro platforms, dozens of meters deep, because nearly 40 locations were being attacked: homes, offices, or a market. At least two people have died, and the number of injured is rising as the hours pass: already about 80 people. Multiple simultaneous fires were recorded across the entire city. And during cleanup and rescue efforts, Emergency Services alerted residents of affected blocks not to approach fragments of the kamikaze drones, because Ukraine has detected that, in recent attacks, parts of the drones housed unstable radioactive components. And another detail: at least one of the missiles that managed to strike tonight was the medium-range hypersonic Oreshnik. A weapon that's hard to intercept, capable of carrying both nuclear and conventional warheads. It would be the third time Russia has used it against Ukraine.
