The big problem with my book of poems is that it is hard to see much of a story going on. As for me that is required of poetry rather than just making a collection of poems. I don't want to contribute to poetry becoming obscure and intelectual.

Whats wrong with politics? It can get mean and result in very little good for the people.

What do I think of America? Don't trash it.

What do I think of humanity? Sure there is evidence that humans are rotten, but I love peop!e anyway.

How am I a cowboy? Accent, gift of gab, happy about older age, happy to be busy and love nature, especially horses and pigs, lastly I know what a red neck is unlike urban myths. I tend to be patriotic and fierce inmy defense of children and the vulnerable. Yes I can cuss and invent idioms and think highly of John Stienback compared to Hemmingway..

If you haven't noticed I don't throw out the big prize all the time. I could go for years or more.
