It is in the mind

Where I light up the water

Where the sparks of new thoughts

Break apart the dust of past events

Awareness causes new flowers this summer

Wonders never cease

Would you wish for lack of wonder

Can you imagine something grand

Dig below the sand

Deeper there you find it

The treasure.

Suddenly the stars lit up

As if touched by a great hand

Swirling the cosmic soup around

Was that something that I found

Enter if you will

A castle on the hill

With royal portals

Men dancing with beards

Spinning in their wickedness

Till it is full of peace

Things do get better.

Going but not gone.

I launch into space

Getting past the atmosphere

Almost caught in the spin

The orbit

But this rocket has a heart

For

Destination.
Somewhere after a storm

There was strong

I took him for tea

He broke the the cup

So we went to the fair

And he got in with the strong man

It was boring.

Later

It rained pearls

And on the main street

Were the hugging girls

Shooting the cell phones off

And the place was closed

I knew it was.

In the event a person forgets

Just all the good they have

If they can't see between the drops of rain

And look at the dream

They miss the door that will wake them

So let the air in

And someday things will really begin

You know there is something there

Just like ice cream in the refrigerator.

Seeking

Into a warm place

The day is climbing

Sun spraying like a laser

It is not the seventies anymore

There is a new beat

There is smaller deal

Can you feel

Break the weapons

Smash them

Smash them

Clear the wide wide open

That is coming.

Goof poem

We need a nun invasion

Tall ghostly nuns with big eyes

Wearing steel plated combat boots

It is their time

This is their big year

The nuns are marching in

The white flags a flying high

On their heads are butterfly's

Their hands grab the napkins

Clutching for forgiveness

They have small hands

Hands to heal

They are ready.

Some nuts

What is one hour in the mind of death?

Crazy question perhaps

And the Iliad was a wargasm

The greeks loved a good war

Good wars?

Now that is an interesting concept

For someone with a dumb ass mind

And can you really talk with someone

Who thinks they are God

Can they ever clean up their heart?

They can

I am a believer

People can do amazing good

I'm sure.
The nightmare days are not laughing

They are growling

Teeth like fangs

In those days like nights

No one ever showed me the true night

I never knew there could be light

I could have myself a money delight

In some big box mirage

Or some service hands

Only a real woman can

Take this mad land and make it right

I am tired of the days

Tired of their nights

And we pretend it is fine

We lie

There is no such power

That can defy capitalism and

Bad weather.
Some stones need smoothing

Sometimes I watch ripples

And sometimes they echo

Wishing on luck

Doesn't just work

Got my telescopic vision

Says thing are really different

And I get ready for nothing

Just the same disappointment

Just the doctor on vacation

Could hit my funny knee

With a hammer

That and more

Excuses galore.
Angels can stay in their places

Stay in their caves

Holding onto crystals

And I have a heart for shiny things

Oh I have a heart

Leaping and dancing

I have a place where diamonds are

So

You know I am always at home

You can dream with a dream

So

You can be a dreamer

A dream girl

It never makes for a good swim

But it's heaven

It is

I got the American Dream

And nobody knows

They can't see it

Even though

So

If you weren't sure

And I am.
I was never much for bubble gum

Not a gob stopper fanatic either

Sugar has to be right

Rolling around on her

Sugar hides the light by her bedside

Taffy

Now that's more like it

Now she's taffy

She has many flavors

Including water melon

And in the summer I'll be there

Watching the boats go by.
Blue skinned witches in black

On the lake side

There eyes hard to see

Under the cat's eye moon

Mixing the waters by the waters

Delving into the blue light

Seeing something

Past the something

That had fooled the masses

Even the masses.
